menu prices...

I understand that the cost at a restaurant is often dependent if you are standing, while eating at the counter or if you are sitting at a table (outside or inside). Are there two menus, where both costs are listed or is there an additional flat fee added to be seated?
Thanks!

That's more true of a breakfast or lunch spot, than a true restaurant, in my experience.

That's mostly at cafes which are a place to have a drink. What little food there is pretty much stinks.

There will be a menu board which lists the price of each item at each location.

The above applies to Italy and France. The below is more applicable to France only.

Restaurants, bistros, and brasseries generally have the same place no matter where you sit.

At the places that are hyphenated with all three or four kinds of eateries, anything goes; don't go there anyway since they try to do a little bit of everything and do nothing well.
