We will be taking the Villages of Italy tour beginning on Sept 7. We will be at a wedding in Melcesine and will travel from there to Padua. Is transportation thus that we could get from Melcesine to Padua on the 7th and be there in time for the greet and meet? Unable to access timetables for trains etc.to figure this out myself.

You mean ‘Malcesine’, presumably? You could catch the train at Peschiera del Garda; they’re fairly frequent, the fast trains take 1 hour, and the slow trains take 1 hr 22 min. To get from Malcesine to Peschiera, you could take a ferry (almost 4 hr, but very scenic) or a bus, which would take 1 hr 18 min. So, it looks doable.

I think you are referring to Malcesine on Lake Garda’s North Eastern Coast? We stayed there, nice town , beach, historic quarter.
