Meeting at FCO airport

I am landing at 7:50AM on United flight from Newark. My daughter lands at 8:10AM on a United flight from DC. Where is the best place for us to meet?

The meeting point is very close to the arrival doors. Have a backup plan if one flight is delayed significantly.

Like Roberto said. The "meeting point" column is just outside the doors that you exit after passing through immigration (passports) then collecting baggage and walking past the "customs: nothing to declare" folks. You'll know you're there when you see a mass of greeters holding name signs, standing just beyond a rope barrier. At that point, look to your LEFT and you'll see the Meeting Point. (Unless they moved it since summer 2016. But they won't have moved it far.) And YES! Have a back-up plan. (Like: If one or another plane is more than 4 hours late, then meet at the hotel. Be sure you each have the United app and the other person's flight number, so you can check flight status.) There is a bank of monitors on a high post not far from the Meeting Point that tells flight numbers and arrival times, so whoever gets to the Meeting Point first can keep an eye on the arrival time of the other person's flight. However, they only post arrival times of flights arriving within the next hour or so, so if one flight is significantly delayed, you won't know from the monitors when it IS expected. Thus, the need for your own app-checking. (Found this all out the hard way, summer 2016.)
