Meet Up with Friends inside Colosseum after Guided tour w/ underground

We were able to secure some tickets for "THE WONDERS OF THE COLOSSEUM (guided tour w/ underground & arena)" but not for every member of our family. Does the Wonder of The Colosseum tour end INSIDE the Colosseum (normal ticketed area)? We want to meet up with the family members who only have the general admission tickets inside the Colosseum.

Has anyone gone through "THE WONDERS OF THE COLOSSEUM" tour previously? Do you start with the guide going to the Arena and Underground then the guide releases the group to the Colosseum? Is there any location markers inside the Colosseum to set up a meeting place? Thank you so much!!

Did you purchase tickets directly thru the Coloseum or a third party vendor? I ask because many third - party brokers don't actually have the tickets when they sell them to travelers, then end up canceling as the date gets closer.

I did this exact tour in Jan. the tour includes only the underground and the arena floor. Afterwards you explore the rest by yourself.

So perfect to meet up afterwards.

When you enter the colosseum you go to the left towards the underground. You finish in the same spot so it’s inside and easy to meet up.

You could plan to meet up in the exhibit space on the upper level - it may be less crowded than the walkways looking out onto the Colosseum.

@Pat & @Kathy, I bought the ticket thru the coopculture.it website so it's official. The tickets with guide is hard to get hence I was able to get tickets for every one. I was only able to get 3 tickets.
