Suggest you post this on Graffti Wall under the area about looking for travel partners. Also, do you mean Monday the 4th and leaving on Wednesday the 6th or do you really mean Sunday the third and leaving on Tuesday the 5th?

Hope I was not offensive, just was afraid you were going to Naples or someplace else far away when Pompeii is so close to Sorrento. That said, if you can't find anyone to do anything with, why not take bus to Positano or Ravello for the day. I have traveled alone a lot and it takes a little bit of courage but I would just go for it. We were there this time last year for wedding in Positano and Amalfi is fantastic. Enjoy.

If you are into hiking, check out the trails from "downtown" Amalfi up to the ridge and then along the ridge. Gotta earn the thirst.
