Meditteranean cruise with teens must do!

Hello! We are going on a Meditteranean cruise with stops at La Spezia, Rome, Naples and Marseilles in France. What have your teens loved doing in these areas? I am looking at biking tours, rafting, hiking but always get great ideas here on things I wasn't considering. This is last minute as I just booked this cruise today!!
Thanks!

Naples is the birthplace of pizza, what teen wouldn't want to experience that? From there, you can go to Pompeii or the Amalfi Coast. Rome is full of historical sites, and if they aren't into that, then maybe the teens would like the gelato? It's an hour from the port, by train.
La Spezia has boat and kayak tours, that's what I would do.
Marseilles has a castle and a beach, but I've not been there.

hey hey blsmutz
congrats on booking cruise, even though you are late if this is happening next month. how many is "we' and ages of teens, where are you coming from USA/Canada? not knowing your budget in euros/dollars and are accomodations booked already?
manys sites, attractions, accomodations have been booked for months, high summer season will be HOT HOT packed in most of the cities you have listed like a can of sardines, carpenter ants or termites in a rotten post, long lines for rides in disneyland/disneyworld.
rome will be really really busy with jubilee 2025 all year, an hour+ to get from port to rome (train, shuttle, taxi) exact times to get off ship in port & get back before debarking.
cruisemapper.com
site tells you what cruise ships are in which port/ what day (click ports/july 2025) scroll down to see how many passengers/crew are on board. if 4 ships in port could be 15,000 - 20,000 people more in port. think either stay near port or book ship excursion with out stress missing ship, saw a few of that happen. look at what's offered in ports and how far it is to get what you wish to do.
hope all works out, have a happy holiday, happy cruising
