Mediterranean Viking Cruise in February

We haven’t booked yet but prices are affordable this time of year. We are concerned about rough seas and rain. Any thoughts?
Thank you

You can get both at that time of year, but medern ships are designed to cope with rough seas (within reason).

We took a Mediterranean Viking cruise over Christmas 2025. Same reason as you--it was more affordable. I get motion sick easily, and I just went into it with the expectation that I would probably get sick and we would probably get rained on.

Glad to say that we only had one day when the seas were choppy, and my EmeTerm band worked great. We also had terrific weather (mid to high 60s, low 70s and sunny) except for our full day in Istanbul. It was about 45 degrees and rainy the whole day. We came prepared--rain gear on the outside, warm clothes and puffer jackets underneath, and stocking caps. We proceeded with our private tour and did everything we planned. It absolutely didn't ruin our trip because we came prepared.
