Medici Chapel Florence

Hi

We will be in Florence mid October. I had wanted to get tickets for the Michelangelo Secret Room. Looking at the official site I see nothing available for October. Any suggestions on how to obtain tickets other than ongoing checking. I fear I have left it too late to book.

Those tickets sell in a flash, since they only sell 100 per week. You can monitor for cancellations be keeping the b-ticket page open and refreshing daily. But dont get your hopes up. Right now tickets are selling for the last few days of November.

Hi, Giangilberto from Milan, honestly, I'd be giving you false hope by telling you you can find a ticket now. I just checked the official website, and the first available slots are on October 31 . There's no mention of canceled tickets being re-sold. Perhaps the only option is to try calling the ticket office directly, but just to be on the safe side, I repeat, it's impossible for me to find a ticket now.
Absolutely don't try any reselling sites, many are unreliable.
If you find someone online selling you a slot on those dates at a higher price, that's precisely the case where the reservation gets cancelled at the last minute. At a sold-out monument, anyone selling availability that the official website doesn't have is selling something they don't have.
Have a look at link below, they say that you can call them to book you ticket.
If I were you, I'll try to call them.
If you have any language problems I can offer to call and try to ask.

When I was there in the 80s, there was a tv crew setting up to film in the "secret rooms." One of the tv people motioned for my friend and I to come in and look around. We lucked out! But it sounds almost impossible to get in there now.

Thank you for the replies. Lesson learned for the future. Book it when you see it’s available!

Sorry you missed out. I book this for all my friends that go to Florence and while it isn't difficult to book I book as soon as tickets become available. I went when it first opened a few years ago and tickets sell out quickly.
