I travel in Italy every year. I almost always travel in March or April. This is the first time I am traveling in May. Come to find out a very big holiday is May 1. Museums, archeological sites, etc. etc. are closed. That is fine, the thing is it is on a Tuesday, which is when my business buying trips take place at a flea market in Florence in the Cascine (normally every Tuesday). I imagine that people would want to take advantage of people being on holiday and want to sell at the market, but before I finish making all my plans, I need to find out of that Flea Market is closed on May 1st. Mercado della Cascine. I have a friend in Florence that has been trying to find out with no luck. We even have the phone number for the Park itself, once again no luck. Anyone??? Thank you...
