Planning another trip in late April & early May. We have been several times to Italy but never on May 1st Holiday.
We will be Positano or Amalfi May 1st and wonder if the the buses and Ferries will be running on that date.

I would check the bus and ferry schedule now as the current schedule probably covers this summer period and you can see if May 1 is mentioned as a holiday. I will be there in November so have to be very careful about bus and ferry schedules. Ferries are not so much of a problem as the busses running on a holiday/Sunday/feria schedule.
