MAXXI Museum, Rome's newest museum

The simplest way to get there is a taxi. They're very reasonable in Rome. FWIW, I've read really mixed reviews of MAXXI. I had planned to go there last year, but changed my mind after reading about the negatives. I think the NYT did a piece on it, if you want to search for that.

I was just at the MAXXI on Sunday. If you love comtemporary architecture then I would say it is definately worth a visit. My husband wanted to go for this reason and the current exhibit is on green building projects. I did not think much of the rest of the artwork there though. It can be a little tricky to find, get off at the piazza del popolo metro stop and take the electric bus.

Thanks for the feedback. Especially, the "how to get there" directions. I'll be coming in for the day from a Royal Carib. cruise and was planning to ask TI at Termini for directions.
