Has anyone used Maximus Tours in Rome for St Peters and the Sistine Chapel..I am looking for an inexpensive way to avoid the entrance lines and get an overview tour, not a detailed lecture. Thanks
Apparently we've only had one prior review of Maximum Tours, here it is, http://www.ricksteves.com/graffiti/helpline/index.cfm/rurl/topic/36139/maximus-tours-any-feedback.html. You could check the Rome forum at Tripadvisor Forums.
There is a great tour offered by the vatican itself that includes the museums, sistine chapel and basilica. It lasts 3 hours and hits the most popular rooms of the musuems. It's a great tour that gives good information but doesn't bore you with too much info. You are able to bypass any line outside. I have not heard of Maximus tours. Donna
