MAXII museum

Good Morning I'm taking the "Heart of Italy" tour in August and was thinking I might visit the MAXII during free afternoon on Day 2. Have any of you done this? Is it worth it? I've been to Rome and have seen the major attractions and i do enjoy Modern Art. What alternative would you advise? TIA Susan

I went once fir the Pink Floyd exhibit, which was great. I did not venture into the rest of the museum, but it looked promising. It was a challenge to get there by public transportation, but well worth it.
