Someone mentioned using a guy in Rome who has apartments. I have contacted him but would like to talk to someone who has actually stayed there.Sorry,I can't remember who it was.

Go to the graffiti wall and click on "alternate accomodations" - I did a search on Mauro and several people have used him. I would recommend you email one of them and ask your questions.
