Where does catholic priest, who has a scheduled time to say private mass at a St Peter' s chapel, go in the morning for orientation

jlsearcher1943 , yours is a very specific question that doesn't apply to tourists so I would work through the office of your diocese for the best answer.

You might try contacting santasusanna.org, it is the American parish church in Roma.

Ooooh, good idea from Zoe. Try that? But I have another question: who contacted you with your scheduled time to say mass, and how did they do that? Could you return their message with your question?

Upon entering the basilica one would head to the sacristy which is located down a corridor about half way down the left side of basilica. Vestments would be provided to the priest upon request.

Thank you everyone for your help: Kathy, I am traveling to Rome with our parish priest for our 50th wedding anniversary. I do not have access to his letter at this time.
