What type of masks are required,
Cloth, N95, etc. for Italy

KN95 and FFP2 masks only. In Canada, we don't have the FFP2 masks, but we do have the KN95 ones and I suspect the US sell them....Do not bring regular masks, they will not allow you to enter, they are very strict on that especially in trains and airlines.

We are currently in Italy and have been using FFP2 masks I bought before we left. We see FFP2 and KN95 everywhere we have been. Some surgical masks. Definitely not cloth masks.

Even the surgical masks isn't enough. I saw a few who were forced to buy the FFP2 ones because they couldn't go in the airplane for that very reason.
