If you have either or both please advise you experience, I will be in Milan first week of June 2025. Thanks,
Just checking, are you asking about experiences from someone who has been to the Maserati factory in Modena, and/or the Ducati factory/museum outside Bologna? Modena is about 120 miles from Milan, and Bologna is about 30 miles beyond that. I don’t imagine you are asking how many people reading your post own a Maserati and/or a Ducati, although there may be some.
Thank you for your reply. You are coreected. I would like to know if anyone has toured the either of the factories. Thank you for the advise on the distance to each location. I posted after a very long stressful day and should have re read my request. Thank you again for your kind response and information on distance to Milan.
My husband has toured Maserati and really enjoyed it.
We didn't tour the Maserati plant, but visited their "showroom" out front. I found the staff there to be brusque and unhelpful, in stark contrast to the Ferrari museum which is almost next door. Just a bit of a heads-up. IMO Maseratis are nice enough cars, but they don't warrant the level of snootiness their staff exhibit.
Maserati and Ducati are the two motor factories that can be visited and closer to the center of the cities, so easy to be reached by public transport (for Ducati you need a taxi from the train station). I like to suggest both because the production chain is working is a very different way.
Due too the problems of the Stellantis group is not known next year if the Maserati factory will work or not.
If you arrive by car is very interesting the Lamborghini factory (same chain arrangement of Maserati) visit and even the Pagani factory (an atelier, not a real factory).
At beginning of June there will be the "Notte rossa" (red night) in Maranello, an event dedicated to Ferrari. During that week end the Ferrari factory area will be opened and you can enter walking for free: you cannot visit the production areas, but the "village"; and you can take photos.
