Marozzi Bus - from Roma Tiburtina to Sorrento

I did a quick search to determine if my question has been addressed previously. Couldn't find anything. I apologize if it has..
I'm thinking of taking the 15:00 (3 PM) Marozzi bus from Tiburtina Station to Sorrento and would like our input. Would like to save Euros; my schedule allows for the 4 hour trip and would like to avoid changing trains in Naples.
Questions...
1. Is it safe and reliable?
2. Can one reserve tickets in advance? i.e. online? If not, and if one does need go to the station to purchase a ticket, does the bus(s) fill up? That is to say, do I run the risk of not getting a seat?
Thanks;
J.S

Hi J.S.,

I took this bus, the other way around, from Sorrento to Rome (6am arriving 9:00 am) and I found it VERY safe and reliable. I also didn't want to go all the way to Naples from Sorrento. We bought the tickets the day before at a little store outside the train station in Sorrento so, I have no idea about buying tickets online, hopefully someone here has that information.

Hi J.S.,

We just took the bus on May 5 from Rome to Sorrento. It is very reliable and safe. It is much better than taking the train to Naples and then the Circumvesuviana to Sorrneto. No worries about your luggage and changing trains.
I did book this online a few months ago. It was in Italian however and I used Google translate to work my way through it!

Thanks. What is the website to book the bus online?

I'm not having any luck to access www.marozzivt.it, but it could be my web browser. You can buy tickets at Tiburtina's Ticket Bus office, or at other travel agencies in Rome that may be close to your hotel or sightseeing, or for 3 euros more onboard the bus. I can't predict whether the bus will fill up, but if it does, you can still catch a direct train from Tiburtina station to Naples.
