Are grocery markets open in Rome on Sundays? Staying in hotel near the Vatican and want to pick up a few things before heading to cruise port on Monday morning.

All the Carrefour Expresses seemed to be open every day of the week. That seemed to be the most common express supermarkets there to my observation.

Carafour Markets are fine for grocery basics. They are all over Rome and Italy.

Carrefour stores are all over Europe and South America, but not in the UK.
