Marco Polo to Hotel

I know I saw another forum post on this, but I cannot find it now. Either way, I was still a little confused about which option to take.

As the story goes, we land at Marco Polo around 9 am, and I cannot figure out the best way to get to my hotel. It is located in Campo Riele, Santa Croce. Its near Cannaregio, but on the other side of the Grand Canal. I know I can take a bus as the terminal isn't too far, but that's no fun! I want to go by water, but the economy way (not private). I have been looking at the Alilaguna Blu line, but I cant really tell what stop I would need. Anyone have any ideas?

Here is the map if this helps:

Also, is this something I should book now or can I do it at the airport after we land?

Also Also, were only in Venice for 2 full days, so should I buy a 24 hour ticket, or a bunch of one ways?

Any help greatly appreciated.

The "A" line (Arancio) will get you to San Stae, but it is still a bit of a walk back there to the hotel. You could transfer at San Stae to the No 1 boat to Riva de Biasio for a shorter walk for another 7 euro. Smart way is the bus to Piazzale Roma and No 1 boat to Riva de Biasio with a combination ticket of 12 euro. If your staying 2 full days, you might as well get the 48 hour ticket with the airport one way adder for 34 euro.
