Very dissappointed in their service.
My first communication with Marco Barili, I asked if we had to go to Varrena and catch a ferry to get to Ballagio. Their next communication said "how many people to Varrenna". We are completely unfamilar with the area so we thought we must have to go to Varrenna.
The female driver who picked us up was a bit out of sorts. I tried to blame this on lack of us not knowing Italian, a communication barrier. But she seemed anxious, or not pleased to be working.
I said to her we were headed to Ballagio. She said "you have reserved for Varrenna". I said I guess we have to go there and catch a ferry to get to Ballagio. She said where are the other 2 people? I said we only reserved for 2. She said "we have a big vehicle for 2 people".
Her driving was scarey, but of course I have been told they drive differently in Itally. I was going with that until she rear ended the car in front of her.
I will say this is the worst driver service we have encountered on or travels. I would not recommend them. I should have booked thru the hotel.
