Traveling to Italy March 19-28, 2020.
No car rental - will use train & bus for 2 people.
Would like to visit / stay in Cinque Terre, but wondering if restaurants will be open then. Or should we stay in Lucca and take the train to C. Terre?
Is 3 nights in C. Terre, 2 nights in Lucca, 2 nights in Florence, and last night in Pisa (flying in and out of Pisa) a good schedule for our first trip there?

I was in Cinque Terre mid-March 2018, and felt like most everything was open.

This all depends on your interest. Our first trip to Italy consisted of Rome, Florence, Venice with a day trip to Cinque Terre. Looks like I had a little more time on the ground but we loved every minute of it and did a return trip last year as well.
