March in VFR

I've looked over some of the questions & think I can word this one better than I did the last one.

I'll have 1-1/2 days in Bologna. Anyone seen the following:
Lamborghini - Cremona - Ferrarri - Monza Race Track - LaScala - Duomo in Milan?

If so - how easy were they to get to?

How did you like what you saw?

Do you think you could ride the train from one point to the next and see more than one of these sights in a 24-hour period.

Are you saying you'll be staying in Bologna and you want to do a day trip to Milan and these other sites during that time?

Either way, I agree about wandering around on the roof of the Milan Duomo - a highlight of our trip.

LaScala was okay; worth the visit if you've never seen the inside of a spiffy opera house.

Duomo roof wandering was worth it no matter how far out of the way it was or how much it cost. One of the darndest things I've ever done.

No knowledge of the rest.

Yes - 1-1/2 days in Bologna and I want to see it all. That's why I'm asking in case priorities need to be made.

Loved Ferrara and Cremona both and don't know about the car spots. A day and half in Bologna could easily be spent without taking off to go elsewhere. However, if you're determined, I agree with other posters that you should choose Milan. The Duomo is a must-see, then the Galleria, La Scala, the Sforza castle. Your train trip there and back will be more than two hours each way: quite a long journey, but relatively easy. Cremona is off the main train line and not that easy to get to. If you get back to Bologna and have extra time you could hop over to Ferrara, which also has a great castle.

Thanks for the input. I'm feeling a little disappointed - I guess I really knew it was impossible to see all that in a day and a half. Lamborghini looks like it'll be the spot. I'm arriving early to adjust to jet lag anyway - so don't want to be worn out before the tour starts.

Well, it's the designation that I saw on my confirmation from the RS tour office for my 10-day tour of Venice-Florence-Rome.
