We are planning a trip next March to Florence, Sorrento/Capri and possiblt the Cin. Terre. I was wondering what the weather is this time of year and what others that have traveled in March have to say. This will be our 2nd trip to Italy. Thanks Ron
The weather will undoubtedly be changeable. Go to the weather underground sit (wunderground.com) to the trip planner - they'll give you the actual temps, etc, for every day for the past 10-12 years for any 2-week period (or less).
I was in Florence in February. It was cold and rainy, but most everything is inside, so who cares....and I had an excuse (to myself) for not climbing the hundreds of stairs for the view from the Duomo's Dome.
