Maps of Italy

Good afternoon from Australia.

My wife and I are travelling to Italy and the Puglia region as part of a European holiday.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a hard copy map of Puglia to use for driving if the internet drops out ?

Many thanks in advance.

I would pull one up on Google Maps and print it out.

Otherwise, book stores often carry very detailed European maps.

Thanks for the advice.

We obviously want a map in English. Is there any particular company eg Michelin that make better or easier to read maps?

Michelin paper maps are world class. We have used them.

If you want a paper map, get Michelin #363. You can also download Google maps for a particular area that will work without a data connection. When I went to Sardinia, I knew that certain inland, mountainous areas had no cell service. I had downloaded the map and Google Maps would seamlessly switch from one to the other when service dropped or started again. The only difference was that the downloaded map would not give you live traffic conditions or police presence. I found no need for a paper map.
