Map Room at Palazzo Vecchio

I know there are a million things to do in Florence. I realize this is all down to personal opinion. Just wondering if anyone has been and thought it worthwhile or worth the admission and time?

Very much dependant on one's interests and time available. I'm not sure it's worth fhe price of admission if that's all you want to see in the museum. But I can say that we spent a couple of hours in the palazzo. Once DH got into the map room, I had to continue on without him, while he stayed there, studying the maps. If you have the time, I think the Palazzo Vecchio is definitely worthwhile; but I've rarely met an historic building or museum I didn't like.

We took the Secret Passages tour that went through the map room and through a hidden door behind the walls. Didn’t spend a lot of time in the room but loved the tour, had a fantastic guide who was a story teller.

Thanks all!

I like finding unusual things and the Atlas Obscura had this room it’s list. I’ve seen a couple of YouTube videos about the Ponte Vecchio and it does look beautiful. Just don’t want to be so booked up with timed tickets.
