How long does it usually take to get information back from Manuel's? I sent availability requests 3 days ago and have yet to hear back.

With small lodging properties, if you don't hear back in 2 days, it usually means they have no vacancies for your dates. The small properties often don't reply when this happens. But I don't have personal experience with this property.

Bear in mind that it's only February and they may be on vacation.

Having had personal experience with Manuel my guess is if you don't hear back from him in the next couple of days contact him again. Sometimes when I contacted him I would get a response and sometimes I wouldn't. Try calling, that is your best bet. He doesn't speak much english but his nephew does. FYI, in spite of the difficulty, I loved it there! The place is a shamble and it is wonderful. Have no fear though, the room is clean. It is one of my favorite places.
