We are flying into Malpensa mid-day and flying out of Bergamo at 8:30 the next morning. We will have time at the end of our trip to see some of Milano, so we just want to get our bearings on arrival and recuperate a bit. Any advice on making the easiest connections between the two airports. We are looking for a hotel very near Bergamo for the one night, as well. Thanks!
Trains go twice per hour from Malpensa at 19 and 43 past the hour. The 19 past connections take 1 hour and 39 minutes and change trains at Milano Centrale and the 43 past connections change at Milano Garibaldi and take 1 hour and 55 minutes. You can buy your tickets at the airport train station.
Thanks. Looks like we should break up the trip and have lunch in Milano before heading to Bergamo, then. After a long International flight, a nearly 2 hour train ride may be more than we want. Very good to know.
