Looking to store two large bags in Malpensa for approximately a week.
Do I need to worry about theft or are the lockers secure?
Any other experiences with storing luggage in Malpensa or another European airport for that matter?

As far as I know, there are no lockers at MXP. There is a staffed luggage storage facility that charges a daily fee, and has opening and closing hours.
Personally, I would not leave anything of value in a storage facility - locker or staffed room. Pack those items in whatever you are taking with you.

When we have used lockers, and they are not frequent these days, there is a 24, 48 hour limit on storage. Most of the major rail stations do not have storage lockers. Don't want you leaving a bomb in the locker. Really don't think there is any theft issues in left storage. I would lock the bags and would not leave the crown jewels but who wants your used clothes. Over the years we have left many bags with absolutely no problem. The fees for a week storage will be substantial. Anyway to not have the two large bags? or maybe one?
