Has anyone stayed at the Novotel Milano Hotel near the Malpensa Airport? Wondering if it is a nice place to stay or if there is a better place to stay? Jane
Here's the official airport guide to nearby hotels: http://www.airportmalpensa.com/airport-hotels.html You can get many reviews on Tripadvisor. Hotels near the airport are completely for convenience. The local area is rural with little to offer for dining or entertainment. So plan on being in your hotel room with the TV for the night.
Last year we stayed at the Best Western Jet Hotel. They had a great buffet breakfast and provide shuttle service to/from the airportl. The rooms, and their prices, were great. Have a great time!
I flew out of Milan this summer and opted to stay in the City and take a cab out to the airport in the morning. it takes about 45 minutes but I thought it was well worth it to spend hald a day and a night in Milan.
We stayed at the Sheraton Malpensa last week. It is in the same area where the Malpensa express arrives. As mentioned earlier, not a lot to do. We actually wandered over to the airport for dinner. It has a place you can print your boarding passes, and offers great convenience.
We just returned from a wonderful tour of the Italian Lake district and stayed at the First Hotel near Malpensa. It was very reasonably priced, about 5 minutes from the airport, friendly staff and provide shuttle service. They also set out coffee and tea and crackers for folks who have early morning departures.
When we had an early AM departure from Malpensa we stayed at -BEST WESTERN Hotel Cavalieri Della Corona- Free shuttle , friendly staff and a nice room
