My family and I (wife, 2 boys and myself) are currently in Bergamo. We travel to Bardolino tomorrow where we are staying for 3 nights.
We are planning a day trip to Malcesine this Sunday, July 13. We plan to take a morning bus from Bardolino to Malcesine. Right now , we definitely want to do Monte Baldo but are open to opinions. Optionally, we will do Scaligers Castle depending how long Monte Baldo takes.
Looking for opinions if Limone is worth adding into this day. It looks beautiful but I am not sure how busy this day will really feel after already having roamed Malcesine and then an additional ferry ride. I am also concerned that the logistics getting back to Bardolino could be stressful. I do not see a direct ferry from Limone to Bardolino. I see a fast ferry to Garda Town. Otherwise we would have to take the ferry back to Malcesine and bus back to Malcesine.
Is adding Limone worth the logistical hassle or is it better to relax in Malcesine and go back to Bardolino? Will it give us a much different experience than Malcesine.
