I am taking my family to Venice for one day, Need a local Lunch spot and maybe onething to do
Traveling by train from Florence to Venice Arrive 10:30 am departing 6:30 pm same day

Info on time of year would help to get suggestions on indoor vs outdoor lunch and 'one thing to do'

I think one thing to do would definitely be to take a vaporetto ride….the route that goes around the entire city.
Or, take a gondola ride.
The rest of the time, just walk and wander.
