We will be in Portovenere in July and looking for lunch spot with great view, good simple food and moderate prices. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Hi Susan, I have not be to Portovenere. If nobody else replies, I would look at Tripadvisor or ask a local once you are there. Good luck!

We happened to be in Portovenere in the afternoon. There were many places on the waterfront serving meals. We just walked until we saw food that looked good. It was also apertivo time, so we got great snacks with our spritz. The town is beautiful!

It is very difficult to find a place to eat in Portovenere without a view. It is one of my favorite towns in Italy. I love the view of the Bay of Poets, and if you have time, get on the boat and see 5 Terre from the sea.
