Luggage Transport

My husband and I have just booked a three week trip around Italy in May 2014. We are actually buying two Superbikes (which dont have panniers) in Italy and will get the shipped back home when we are finished touring - what a dream come true. We will be touring about 8 different destinations during the 3 weeks on our motorbikes. I was wondering if anyone could offer us some advice on how we could transfer our luggage from hotel to hotel in Italy? Is there a company that does this in Italy that is not too costly? Our provisional itinerary is from Milan airport (where we would fetch the motorbikes), to the Cinque Terre (3 days), then to San Gimignano (4 days), then to Cortina d'Ampezzo (3days) then to Bolzano (2 days), then to Bellagio (2 days) and then to Stresa (3 days). Thanks, Lisa

We've done self guided bike trips in Italy and the companies we used had a taxi take our luggage point to point. You might check with your first hotel to see if that might work for you. Don't really know of a service that does that independent of a group tour, either guided or self guided. Your distances are going to be further that our 35-45 miles covered each day, but I do know that it was just one guy in a taxi that took our luggage for us between towns. Just reporting on our experience...
