Luggage transfer in Italy instead of carrying suitcases on trains

We're looking for a reputable luggage transfer service in Italy to avoid carrying our suitcases on trains, given our age/abilities, such as between Florence and Venice. Someone has suggested a service called Trenitalia.

I'm looking for information about such baggage transfer services, vetting them, and whether anyone has used Trenitalia.

Thank you.

Just be aware that the luggage will arrive (in most cases) the next business day after it has been picked up. So if they pick up the day you go, it won’t be there when you arrive 2-3 hours later.
