I thought I read something about being able to store luggage at train stations while you sight see. Does anyone know anything about this? We will be taking the train from Florence to Naples on our way to Positano and want to spend a day in Naples but certainly don't want our suitcases to limit our ability to get around. Any advice?

Yes, at the main train station in Naples there is a baggage deposit station. I forgot if there is a fee or not, but I stored my luggage there before. Hope all goes well!

Most of the larger train stations in Italy have staffed luggage storage areas. No lockers.
