Anyone know if there is a place to leave luggage in Volterra. We will be there for the day, on our way to Siena, but need a place to leave our luggage while we tour around town.

Don't recall seeing any place offering luggage storage while in Volterra. You might try e-mailing the TI office at ufficioturistico@volterratur.it and asking them.

One possibility would be to make a lunch reservation at a restaurant in Volterra (upon your arrival or by phone), and ask them to hold your luggage while you visit the town. If they are interested in your business, they might agree.
