Our cruise is ending in Venice this July. The ship arrives in port at 6:30am. and our flight departs in late afternoon. We have an excursion that starts at 8:30am and will be very difficult dragging our luggage on this excursion. Is there a service that safely stores luggage or transports luggage from the ship to the airport?
Here’s a very informative website where you’ll find most of your answers: Europe for visitors
Here’s info about Left Luggage in Venice and luggage porters that may be very expensive.
Enjoy your time in Venice!

Keep in mind that it takes time to disembark. Is the excursion part of the cruise?
I’ve not taken a cruise to Venice so don’t know if you’ll have enough time to disembark and store your luggage prior to joining the excursion at 8:30.
There is a left luggage in the train station. Also one just outside the station.
Thanks to you both. I'll follow up on these suggestions!
I remember getting off the train in Venice a few years ago, hoping to stow my luggage for a few hours so I could walk around...and there was LONG line to store it! I only had four hours, and I didn't want to waste half of it waiting in line, so I just kept my small bags with me for a few hours and dragged them over a few bridges and hung out a little. (I later learned about other storage place outside the station.) So, be prepared for a line - but hope it's not as bad as what I had to deal with!
As you exit the station and go down the steps, on your left is the Keep Calm luggage storage place.
Trasbagagli is in the business of taking cruisers luggage to the airport, as well as operating left luggage offices at the airport and Piazzale Roma. If this is an excursion offered by the cruise ship, l would think they could handle that for you. Meantime just Google Trasbagagli Venice.
