My husband and 2 kids are making a pit stop in Venice before heading to Rome. We will spend 2 days/1 night in Venice. I have yet to book a hotel, and I am curious if it’s standard practice for hotels to offer luggage storage. Should I be inquiring with the hotel before I make our reservation? Specifically, I’d need luggage storage after we check out out. Thanks

I looked at several Venice hotel listings on Booking.com, and they all offer baggage storage. I think it is standard practice.

That's a very standard service, generally available. The exception would be a hotel that doesn't staff its reception desk during all hours of the day. You might run into a 2-star place like that, and of course informal accommodations (not hotels) are often not set up to store luggage.
