Luggage Storage in Pompei main (Trenitalia) station — not Pompeii Scavi

Having a surprisingly difficult time finding answer to this. Will be arriving/departing in Pompeii on Trenitalia via main station (NOT Scavi/Circumvesuviana) — coming from Salerno and departing for Rome.

Need to stow bags… it’s clear there’s luggage storage at Pompeii Scavi, but having a hard time confirming if there’s baggage storage at mainline Trenitalia (Pompei) station as that would be easiest.

(If not, could take taxi from Pompei to/from Scavi and stow bags at Scavi or at entrance to ruins while touring site, but since arriving / departing from main station, would be a lot easier to stow bags there.)

Appears there may be storage at main station with the company Radical Storage, but they don’t reveal exact location / address of facility until you book, and online chat with one of their CS reps was inconclusive…

Thanks in advance!

Can you see Pompei when you open the drop-down "select location" menu? I can't.

You could use the contact form and ask if KiBag are going to open a new deposit in Pompei station, now that the modern city is blessed by a single direct "high" speed train from Rome
Otherwise, you could simply take the Circumvesuviana / the Campania Express

He can not take the Circumvesuviana because he is coming from Salerno, not Sorrento.

I was at the Trenitalia Pompeii station in Jan. There is a tabacco shop which can store luggage (Which I did not).

However, check out the google review from a month ago.

It appears you can at 5 Euro a bag and 3 euro a back pack. Closes at 6 according to the review.

Its an easy walk to the entrance. Note, there are two entrances. We had to walk up the hill to the second entrance for our tour..

Hope this helps..
