Has anyone used a luggage storage facility near Pisa Centrale station and had a good experience? We are thinking of stopping in Pisa for a few hours on our way to Cinque Terre. Do they have lockers we can store our belongings ourselves? This seems like a safer option. Thanks!

Hi when I was there in May, Pisa Centrale had a staffed luggage storage facility accessed from the platforms all the way at the end of the tracks. You give them your luggage, they give you a ticket, and you pay when you pick it up. I had a layover of several hours between trains and was able to explore Pisa unencumbered.

We also used Centrale with no issues.
