In the Rick Steves guide book, it states that there is no luggage storage at the train station in Levanto. I would like to store my luggage for a few hours while I rent a bike. Has anyone had any experience with this?

No luggage drop. Ask the bike rental place—maybe they have a storeroom of some sort.

Yeah, I'm sure there is somewhere in town to store bags. But the train station is up the hill a little from the town - probably a 10-15 minute walk down to the center of town. At worst you could find a hotel to store them for a few euros for a few hours.

You might check with Bounce, this is a luggage storage company that contracts with local businesses to store luggage in various cities for cheap but I have no experience in your particular town. There are other similar services if you google "luggage storage companies." Good luck!
