Luggage Storage in Florence and Venice.

Can you store luggage at the train stations in Florence and Venice? The problem is that we are planning to arrive in the morning at both places, but our check-ins are not until the afternoon. We don't know what to do with our bags. Also, is it safe to store your bags? This is our first time in Italy, and don't want to have to carry our luggage around all day. Just wanted to see if you guys have done this and what your experiences are with it. Thanks!

First check with your lodgings to see if they can hold your luggage until check-in.
If they can't, then there is luggage at both stations.

We are booked through an AirBnb and are getting an early check-in, but will still arrive a few hours before.

In both stations, it's a storage office, not an individual locker. It's safe enough but keep any real valuables with you.
