I have one day to see Cinque Terre by train and will have luggage. Do the train stations or nearby facility have baggage storage, so I can get off at each city and not have to lug my baggage with me? My trip is one way, so I need to be able to check in each city.

There is no official spot, but walk down to the first bar on your right hand side. Give the owner 20E and he/she will take good care of your stuff.

Phyllis, I hope you pick up the humor in Bob's message above. Both La Spezia Centrale and Monterosso have staffed luggage storage areas. Note the operating hours carefully. Also, I've seen it reported that the person at Monterosso may not be there but is nearby and there may be a doorbell. About 3Euro per bag. Pisa also has a staffed luggage storage area should you be stopping there.
