Anyone know whether or not there are any luggage lockers in Salerno? Perhaps close to the ferry or train station?

FWIW, there are very few luggage lockers anywhere, due to terrorism. What you're hoping/looking for is a Left Luggage or "Deposito Bagaglio" - a staffed counter where you can drop off your bags and pick them up later.

not that I have used it (because I never needed to) I have SEEN a sign for Deposito Bagagli (or however you spell it) at the Salerno station.....not that I have ever found it either.....
