Luggage lockers in Rome?

Ciao!
My husband and I are travelling in Italy and Switzerland for two weeks in June. We'll arrive in Rome around 8:30am, but can't check into the apartment we're renting (Jewish Ghetto) until 3pm. Does anyone know of luggage lockers at Roma Termini or somewhere closer to Centro Storico (we'd prefer not to trek back out to Roma Termini)? We'll have two carry-on-size bags to leave.
Grazie,
Megan

There is a manned luggage storage on the lower level of Termini, south side or to your left if facing the front of Termini with the tracks to your back. There are no other public storage facility. You might ask a hotel in the area to store your bags but if not using the hotel then that might be a little awkward.

Thanks, y'all! I'd still be interested if anyone knows of luggage drop closer to the center of town.

Termini is just 3 stops from Piazza di Spagna (Spanish Steps) with the metro and by bus you are no more than 10 min. from it from anywhere else in the centro storico, so it's not really a huge amount of trekking back. I don't think there is any other place where you can leave your bags unless you use Bon-Bags.

FYI, you're not going to find actual lockers for luggage due to terrorism.

Actually, there are left luggage lockers still available ... just not in Termini.

There are hundreds available at Munchen Hauptbahnhop (Munich Central). I only found this out after having paid $6E to the manned kiosk for each bag during Oktoberfest when a locker (which could have stored twice the amount of bags I had) costs only $6E. The advantage of the lockers is 24 hour access while the manned kiosk closes at midnight.

Sorry, wacky, I don't see the purpose of your post. The question was asked and answered in April so your advice is about 6 months late; also I don't see the relevance of anything in Munich to the situation in the historic area of Rome.
