We are cruising the Mediterrean out of Venice in the fall. We are arriving by train into Venice. Is there a drop off location for our luggage at the train station?

Yes. Look for "Deposito Bagagli" when you arrive.
It's open from 6:00 to 23:00 hours daily.
The cost per luggage piece is €6 for the first 5 hours, then it's €0.90 per hour up to 12 hours. Then, beyond 12 hours, the hourly fee goes down to €0.40 per hour.
