Can anyone tell me the alloted time one should have from Lucca to the airport in Pisa. Also what is the quickest and best transportation to get to the airport. Any idea of the cost?

Other than a taxi the bus is probably the best and quickest (50 min to an hour from Lucca to Pisa airport). Not sure of the cost.

I would suggest that the train is the best way to get from Lucca to the Pisa airport. CLICK HERE to see a typical train schedule. The trip takes 45 minutes and the fare is 2.40Euro.

You don't have to change buses going from Lucca to Pisa airport, but you do have to change trains.

Hello..
As I just returned from there ...Lucca to Pisa is about 1/2hr by car. There is a train but bus is probably the best. Do allow plenty of time at the airport because depending on your carrier the lines usually are quite long and not always organized. Good Luck.
