We are planning a trip for Sept./October, 2018. Stuttgart, Lake Como, Cinque Terre and then Lucca. From Lucca we have 2 more weeks starting with a few days in the Amalfi coast area, a day trip to Pompeii and then on over to Greece for about 10 days.
We have seen Rome and Florence so wondering if anyone has some suggestions for what not to miss between Lucca and Positano? Also, any tips on Greece? We are thinking of seeing Santorini, Rhodes and ending in Athens to fly home.
Also, any suggestions on distance and travel times between these places and do we need to be getting our train tickets this far in advance?
