I would like to attend a Puccini Concert in Lucca in June. I hope I can get the help from the forum to a website to purchase tickets before I leave the United States June 10, 2018.

These concerts are really excellent. The singers and accompanist are working professionals, not students. If you have looked at the web site, you'll see there are a few choices of programs. All are worth your time and euro inho. Tickets before you leave? I really don't think that's necessary but that's up to you.

I was in Lucca for a long weekend last June and attended two of the concerts; both were excellent. Neither one was close to selling out; their website even mentions that due to the large venue size "tickets are always available for each performance." Also, my B&B had tickets for 10% off, so I saved a little money by buying through them after I checked in. I think you'd be safe waiting till you got there to buy.

I bought my ticket in Lucca. The venue in a old church is wonderful and the intimate setting adds more beauty. The opera excerpts are wonderful and include other composers in addition to Puccini such as Mozart. A great experience!
